We sell a rich, natural, growing medium specifically formulated for growing gourmet and medicinal mushrooms, and it performs equally well with any type of plant. Because it has been heat pasteurized, there are no harmful bugs, bacteria, fungus, spores, etc, which means you can use it indoors as well as outside without worrying about contamination.This is the same compost that professional mycologists and commercial mushroom farms use. It is not the “mushroom compost” you can buy at a garden center, which has little or no mushroom nutrients! It has been specifically formulated for mushroom growth, and is by far the most nutrient rich substrate available.Our compost is packaged in 10 pound filter patch bags, as shown in the picture. Price for our compost is $3.50 per pound.
